11th January 2022 — Parkside School in Cobham, Surrey will be offering childcare provision all year round to Nursery and Reception children, between 8am and 6pm during the school holidays as well as term time.
In addition to term time schooling, Parkside will offer a range of activities led by specialist staff throughout the holidays. These activities will be aligned with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum and include activities such as cooking, drama, swimming, forest school, arts & crafts, music, imaginative play, and a variety of sports within the Nursery and the 45 acres of Parkside’s grounds.
Parkside has made this decision in response to discussions with existing parents about increased flexibility for working parents. This change will come into immediate effect for existing Parkside families and for September 2022 starters. Admissions for this new, all year-round Nursery and Reception are now open.
“(Our child) loves Parkside and we cannot wait to have increased access to all the opportunities on offer during the holidays. (They) love the weekly visits to the on-site swimming pool and putting wellies on to explore the amazing forest school.” Mr G, Parkside Parent
