West Buckland gymnasts crowned IAPS U9 National Champs

West Buckland Prep School's U9 gymnastics team have been crowned IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) U9 national champions, in the two-piece competition last weekend held in Kent.

West Buckland Prep School's U9 gymnastics team have been crowned IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) U9 national champions, in the two-piece competition last weekend held in Kent.

The team had to perform on vault and floor and came first out of 18 teams and over 80 children competing.

All the team competed extremely well, especially Rumi Sieff whose individual score put her at the very top of the leader board.

Gymnastics is very popular at the school as an after school club, with pupils from as young as five taking part.
