2nd July 2017 — Nahum Fisher age 10, Natasha Goodyear age 11, and twins Eva and Izabella Okaro age 10, travelled to the event in Sheffield on Saturday 17 June 2017 to compete having successfully participated in the County Championships held at Medway Park and the Regional Championships held in Guilford.

In the Freestyle Relay the team broke the National Record with a time of 55.99 and in the Medley they broke the National Record with a time 1.03.55.

Both were outstanding performances from the King’s Team and we are delighted with their success. We now hold two National Swimming Records!

This success comes after their individual successes in the IAPS National Finals on 6 May, where all four swimmers also won places in the final of the finals in their stroke with Eva winning the U10 25m Freestyle and Izabella winning the U10 Butterfly whilst Nahum was second in the 25m Freestyle and Natasha was placed sixth in the 50m Backstroke. All of them are ones to watch for the future!

About King's Preparatory School

Children at King's benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum which is designed to educate the whole person as well as to gain the best possible academic results. Whatever their talents, pupils at King's Prep are encouraged to grasp every opportunity both inside and outside the classroom and through involvement in Music, Sport, Drama and the wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities on offer. King's Prep is large enough to provide a full range of options and facilities, but small enough to create and maintain a 'family feel' where teachers know everyone really well.

Our Christian community welcomes children from a wide variety of backgrounds and faiths. As a Cathedral School, our aim is that girls and boys will grow happily in understanding, knowledge and confidence, under-pinned by the positive values which shape King's. This website will, I am sure, give you a taste of what King's Rochester is like - but it cannot replicate the feel of the place which is so important in choosing the right school for your child. Please do come and visit King's and meet our happy, engaging, confident and well-mannered pupils -  and see how we help each child to flourish.
