23rd January 2019 — On Monday 21 January the boys of Northcote Lodge welcomed a very special guest to school. Former English rugby union player and full-back for Gloucester and England and now the Director of Rugby at Cheltenham College, Ollie Morgan, joined them for an afternoon of rugby and coaching.

After meeting and greeting the boys after lunch and sharing his own rugby career journey, Ollie joined them for some rugby training on Wandsworth Common. He then accompanied them to Trinity Fields and refereed a game between Form 5 Northcote boys and Cumnor House. Before leaving, the boys had the chance to ask him some more questions over tea.

The boys thoroughly enjoyed his visit and feel very lucky that a senior school Head of Rugby and former England player was their coach for a few hours.
