Medal Win for Girls in National Judo Finals

Girls from Hazlegrove Prep School were victorious in their pursuit of medals at the recent National IAPS Judo Finals, which took place in High Wycombe.

16th February 2020 — Girls from Hazlegrove Prep School were victorious in their pursuit of medals at the recent National IAPS Judo Finals, which took place in High Wycombe.

For many of the pupils, this was their first major competition at national level. Their teacher, Mr Gleeson was particularly proud of them and said, 'I was so impressed with their efforts', he added, 'Judo is such an important sport and has so many benefits to those who take part including self-discipline, self-defence as well as control'.

The girls were placed in different aged categories and were delighted to win four silvers and a bronze.
