19th May 2016 — Our swimmers headed to the National IAPS Finals in Crawley, where they were competing against some of the best schools in the country. Our boys performed with great credit, indeed all of them swam personal bests. Pride of place goes to Joe Pannese who is now a National Champion having won the 50m Freestyle, an outstanding achievement.

Our Under 10 relay team of Ben Grimberg, Guy Johnson, Thomas Godfrey and Cameron Taylor came 9th, with Ben coming 8th in the individual butterfly and Guy 11th in the breaststroke. In the Under 12 age group our team of George Williams, Bradley Borland, Jake Pattison and Joe Panesse came 4th in the Medley and 5th in the freestyle finals. Individually, George was 7th in the butterfly, Bradley was 8th in the breaststroke and Jake was 13th in the backstroke. Well done to all the boys who have worked so hard to get to this standard and to Mr Preston who looks after our swimming so enthusiastically!
