19th June 2019 — Whilst most of the Prep School were in various locations across the UK and France enjoying their residential week, the boys in Year 3 had a Royal treat to look forward to this week. Travelling to Great Windsor Park for the Davenies School annual outing, the boys waited eagerly along the Royal Mile to welcome the Queen and her guests to this year's Royal Ascot. Creating their own Union Jacks to wave to the royal procession the boys were thrilled to have the Queen wave to them and to see the Duchess of Cambridge, amongst other family members.
Thank you to our very own Akela for organising a wonderful day out.
Davenies is a thriving IAPS day school for boys aged 4-13. Our ethos and philosophy enable the boys to make the most of their preparatory years, supported by high quality pastoral care, a broad and stimulating curriculum and numerous extra-curricular opportunities.
Davenies has its own distinct character and from their earliest years children are encouraged to relish the learning experience.
