TPS helps to build Bridges not Walls!

Pupils at TPS have had the opportunity to help build a bridge in one of the poorest communities in Malawi. Children were unable to reach their school as the bridge over the river had deteriorated until it was impassable.

23rd February 2017 — As part of our support for a local charity, African Vision Malawi, our pupils have been busy raising funds for the community of Songwe. The bridge over the river in the village had been slowly deteriorating until it was unusable and the local children were unable to get to school.

With the help of the pupils and parents at Twickenham Prep the new bridge is now completed and the children can now not only enjoy a safe journey to school but also two new classrooms have been built that the charity has also helped fund. We look forward to helping the charity further and developing closer links with the communities.
