29th April 2020 — During the Easter holidays the Supersonics, a team of Year 3 pupils from Lady Eleanor Holles Junior School, came together to raise money for the NHS by running a distance of 5km each at home during lockdown.

The 33 pupils aged 7 to 8 years-old set themselves the challenge to run a distance of 2 to 5km at home. As they stated on their JustGiving page ‘This won’t just challenge our bodies but also our minds. Imagine running around in circles, all by yourself, in your garden or balcony, to cover a distance of 5km. It’s not exactly a walk in the park! But we believe it is the least we can do to support our NHS.’

Well done to them all for completing this challenge which so far has raised an amazing £7,511 of their £500 target for NHS Charities Together.
