St Andrew's Prep raises more than £8,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust

St Andrew's Prep is thrilled to announce that over the course of the last academic year, the  school community raised more than £8,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust through a series of fundraising events including Christmas and summer fairs, a colour run and a quiz.

22nd November 2019 — St Andrew's Prep is thrilled to announce that over the course of the last academic year, the school community raised more than £8,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust through a series of fundraising events including Christmas and summer fairs, a colour run and a quiz.

This week, Oscar, Percy and Nancy, together with Headmaster Gareth Jones and the Chair of the Friends of St Andrew's Catherine Fellows, handed over a cheque for £8,383.11 to Claire Philipps, one of the charity's representatives, who thanked everyone for their support and took the opportunity to speak about how the money would be used to support those with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and their loved ones and she explained the charity’s aim to work towards a brighter future for everyone with CF by funding cutting-edge research and driving up standards of care.
