5th December 2019 — The evening was a great success, with over £1,500 raised for Woking and Sam Beare Hospices – a patient centred charity that delivers specialist palliative care to adult patients of all ages who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses. Mr Tim Stokes, Chairman of Woking Hospice, who attended the concert, was very pleased to accept the cheque on behalf of the local Woking charity.
Mr Adrian Perks, Headmaster at St. Andrew’s, commented: “It was truly wonderful to see and hear so many of our past pupils perform in this very special concert. We feel very privileged that so many of our alumni were keen to give up their time to perform in our new theatre and to help us raise much-needed funds for Woking Hospice. Our thanks go to everyone who performed and to our enthusiastic audience for their generosity in raising so much for such a worthwhile charity.”
