21st September 2018 — Spratton Hall Pre-Prep is really proud to have taken part in the Sal’s Shoes ‘Toe to Toe’ charity project again this year.  With thanks to the very generous support of parents at the end of last term, Pre-Prep waved goodbye to seven huge boxes packed full of shoes, as they set off on the first part of their journey to find some new, happy feet.

Very sadly, there are an estimated 300 million children in the world for whom walking with shoes is a rarity.  It is heart breaking that these little ones are left extremely vulnerable to infection and injury, with many not even allowed to attend school – all because they do not have a pair of shoes to wear.

Pre-Prep gathered together a total of 187 pairs of outgrown shoes which, once they reach their final destination, will make a huge difference to some boys and girls who long for their own pair of shoes.  Sal’s Shoes has 26 countries, including the UK, which it will be sending donations to this year – we can’t wait to hear where our shoes end up!

Spratton Hall (Coed 4-13) is a day school in Northamptonshire.
