School Council leads the way supporting those in need in the local community

The School Council were delighted to deliver 48 Christmas hampers to elderly in the local community and over donate over 500 food items to Loveworks food banks.

11th December 2019 — The School Council was delighted with the response to its request for food donations. With the donations received they were able to make up 48 Christmas hampers for elderly in the local community, as well as donate over 500 items to local food banks.

Volunteers from Loveworks food banks reported that the donations would make up a significant proportion of the food parcels needed over the forthcoming winter months.

Members of the School Council enjoyed spreading the Christmas cheer as they helped to deliver the food hampers to elderly in the community.
