11th November 2020 — Remembrance Services were held at the Prep and Senior School with a focus on the centenary of the burial of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey.

Mrs Joanna Cook, Lay Chaplain, commented, "It was important to us as a community to join together in silence to remember those who have lost their lives. Ensuring safe social distancing and maintaining bubbles, we were able to gather outside, reflect on the journey of the Unknown Soldier’s coffin from France to Westminster Abbey and pay our respects.”

Mrs Kerrie Daunter, Head of the Prep School, said, “The Remembrance Service at the Prep School was a very special event, which included contributions from children across the year groups. Pupils and staff gathered outside to hear readings of prayers and poems. The Head Boy and Head Girl laid the poppy wreath and there was a minute’s silence which was concluded by The Last Post played on her trumpet by a pupil from the school.”
