Heatherton’s Year 6 girls were thrilled to record their very own Christmas radio show with Radio Christmas. Radio Christmas is raising money for the projects that Street Kids Direct supports in Guatemala and Honduras. They work with street-living youths and high-risk children who are vulnerable to living on the streets. Heatherton are proud to be supporting such a worthwhile cause.

The Year 6 girls wrote and delivered their own radio script, chose which Christmas songs to play and even composed and recorded some of their own songs as well. They had a wonderful time and were humbled to be able to help. Who knows it may even have inspired some future career choices.

“Thank you for helping Radio Christmas, and for showing great compassion not only to each other but to the children we help in Central America.” Oli O’Neill Radio Christmas, Street Kids Direct.

The radio show will be aired on Monday 16th December at midday. To listen to the show visit radiochristmas.co.uk
