Christmas Shoebox appeal at The Royal School, Surrey

Pupils at The Royal School have been busy checking and preparing shoe boxes for a Christmas Shoebox appeal. The aim is to ensure that vulnerable children and families from the poorest areas in Eastern Europe know that someone cares this Christmas.

4th December 2020 — Senior School pupils at The Royal School have been busy checking and preparing shoe boxes for the Christmas Shoebox appeal through the registered charity - Teams4U.

The aim of the appeal is to ensure that vulnerable children and families from the poorest areas in Eastern Europe know that someone cares for them this Christmas. The 61 boxes left the school at the end of November ready for the next part of their journey.

Miss Elly Whitworth, who organised the effort, said: “It has been great seeing the school come together to support this very worthwhile charity. Thank you to all who have supported this initiative.”
