6th December 2019 — The youngest members of The Royal Junior School have been stealing hearts with their take on the Nativity.

Daycare and Nursery children worked hard rehearsing for their Christmas play over several weeks. They loved learning new songs and were excited to invite family and friends to come and watch the finished play on stage in Lacey Hall at the Junior School.

Their performance was called 'Whatever Next' and it told the story of two Baby Bears who wanted to follow a bright star; on their way they met some camels, kings, shepherds and some sheep. Eventually, after a long walk to Bethlehem, the angels and the star led them to a stable, where there were several noisy animals and a very special newborn baby.

After the performance, Father Christmas dropped by with presents (kindly donated by the RSA) for all the children in Daycare and Nursery.
