Year 5 pupil, Dara Lall claims a gold medal at the Marlow Festival of Music and Drama

28th November 2018 — Year 5 pupil, Dara Lall entered the recent Marlow Festival of Music & Drama. The festival's website says "The festival provides a unique opportunity to perform in front of family and friends, a small audience, and a professional adjudicator." Gayhurst School are delighted to have heard from Dara's very proud parents that he was awarded the gold medal for his Shakespeare Solo; Set prose & own verse and he was also awarded the the Queen Anne's Trophy, which is the aggregate trophy for age 9 and under which is awarded to the child with the highest collective marks from a range of classes. Well done Dara! What an achievement!
