Thumbs Up for Science!

Rafi, Yash, Daisy and Alice represented St Aubyn's at Forest School's recent annual Junior Science competition.

27th June 2019 — Alice commented, “we were all nervous and excited but, once we started doing our investigations and experiments, we relaxed and really enjoyed the challenge”.

Yash added, "we worked through three investigative activities, two of which involved testing the efficiency of a light bulb and the nutrients within a mushroom and after a tense wait we were thrilled to find out that we had won the competition".

St Aubyn's Head of Science, Miss Gamble, said, "it was an excellent learning experience for our keen, young scientists and winning the competition was a rewarding bonus for all their hard work".
