Mr Paget-Tomlinson, Headmaster commented: “It has been a challenging year for our 2020 leavers. Forced to say goodbye to each other earlier that they expected and missing out on many of the rites of passage usually enjoyed in the final year of school. Over the past few months I have been continually impressed by their support for each other, sense of humour and unfailing positivity. This outstanding set of results is just reward.

Whilst there are clearly some impressive academic results there are many personal triumphs with students outperforming their own expectations. This year, more than ever, this is testament to the hard work they have put in throughout their two year course.

I am sure they will thrive in whatever field of study, or workplace, they go on to. We could not be more proud of them”.

These results have enabled Leweston’s leavers to win places on a diverse range of courses including places at three different Medical Schools; Maths and Mechanical Engineering at Imperial; Human Sciences, Arts and Sciences and Biomedical Engineering at UCL; Ancient History, Zoology and Psychology and Royal Holloway and Design for Performance at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. We are also delighted to have our first Computer Science course at King’s College, London and Cyber Security at Kingston.
