The candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher, able to deliver an extensive subject knowledge through varied teaching and learning styles to Year 7 to Sixth Form with the addition of preparing for Oxbridge applications in Physics related sciences.

Wells Cathedral School seeks a suitably qualified and inspirational full-time Teacher of Physics. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a commitment to delivering an extensive knowledge of the subject through a wide variety of teaching and learning styles. The successful candidate will be able to teach Physics from Year 7 to Sixth Form, including preparing pupils for Oxbridge applications in Physics and related sciences. The ability to teach other sciences would also be advantageous, but not essential.

A willingness to contribute to the wider co-curricular and community activity of a lively boarding and day school situated in the heart of the West Country is essential.

Applications are equally welcome from experienced teachers, NQTs and those without formal teaching qualifications.
