ADMISSIONS MANAGER / REGISTRAR
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and highly capable Admissions Manager / Registrar. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing all aspects of the admissions process at The Mount School York. They will work closely with the Principal, the Director of External Relations, and the wider Admissions and Marketing Team.
The Mount School York is a leading Quaker day and boarding school set in 16 acres of beautiful grounds located ten minutes’ walk from York’s historic city centre. The Mount is York’s only all-girl school age 2-18, we are leaders in educating girls and understanding their needs. We are extremely proud of our all-girl ethos and passionate about empowering girls to become confident young women, enabling them to believe nothing is beyond their reach. In November 2018, The Mount School York was awarded ‘Excellent’ in all elements of our ISI Inspection, with inspectors commenting that pupils were ‘exuberantly confident.’ The Admissions Manager/Registrar will demonstrate a passion for girls only independent education and the Quaker ethos of the School promoting the message to prospective families. The successful candidate will liaise with prospective parents from both the UK and overseas, ensuring a smooth transition to The Mount. Therefore, the post calls for a high level of relevant experience in customer care, and an understanding of the world of independent education. Excellent communication and people skills are essential, as well as the capability to interact with pupils. The ability to maintain accurate records and be highly organised is essential. High levels of computer literacy and excellent administration skills are required. The newly appointed Admissions Manager / Registrar will bring energy and initiative, playing a key role in helping the School grow.
Salary: A competitive remuneration package is available, with a salary commensurate with the responsibilities of the post, and dependent on experience.
