Working alongside the Resident Priest Chaplain, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lay Chaplain to join our well-resourced and vibrant Chaplaincy Team to serve and support the community of 300 boarding and day students and resident staff.

Working alongside the Resident Priest Chaplain, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lay Chaplain to join our well-resourced and vibrant Chaplaincy Team to serve and support the community of 300 boarding and day students and resident staff families.

The core values of care, trust and respect, set out in our Mission & Ethos Statement, are at the heart of our relationships with one another. The successful candidate will be a practising Catholic and will be able to discuss theological, moral and spiritual issues with young people of different faiths in a confident, articulate and sensitive manner. The ability to devise and lead liturgies and prayer opportunities is essential. Collective worship is supported by a flourishing Music Department. The Resident Lay Chaplain will also work as the Assistant in a Boarding House, reporting to the Head of Boarding for that House.

Accommodation and meals will be provided, free of charge. Working hours will include weekdays, evenings and weekends during term time, on a rota. Training will be provided.
