We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic School Librarian who can demonstrate comprehensive library experience and an excellent understanding of e-technology to manage the day to day running of the School Library.
The role of Librarian plays a key part in contributing to the development of the Library as a Learning Resource Centre, helping to promote leisure reading and independent learning amongst pupils.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Librarian with experience of using an online library management system, be innovative, forward thinking, and confident working with both staff and pupils in an extremely well-resourced and busy library. You will also be willing to embrace new technologies and ideas on the usage of the Library in conjunction with the Director of IT.
The role is offered on a full-time (40 hours per week), term time only basis and offers a competitive salary dependent on experience plus generous benefits.
