Abbot’s Hill School wishes to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and creative Temporary Art & Design Teacher, to work as part of the department. The post is to cover a period of maternity leave from Monday 24 February 2020 and lasting for at least 1½ terms.

Set in beautiful grounds, the school provides an excellent environment in which to teach up to GCSE level. The successful candidate will also be involved in teaching a Year 6 class.

The successful candidate will have:

• An excellent track record of raising attainment and examination success at KS4;

• The ability and enthusiasm to motivate pupils in Art & Design lessons with a track record of outstanding teaching across all Key Stages;

• The ability to raise expectations and aspirations of pupils of all abilities;

• A desire to contribute to the extra-curricular life of this busy, friendly school would be especially advantageous.
