About the school
Recognised as excellent in all areas in the ISI Inspection (2011), Cadogan House offers exceptionally broad learning opportunities, with outstanding teaching from both subject specialists and class teachers. Small class numbers ensure that teachers quickly get to know the girls and focus on nurturing their individual talents and strengths to enable them to become well-rounded, independent young people. Extra curricular activities abound, and sport and Performing Arts have a high profile. The girls benefit from all the facilities afforded by our magnificent site, including a designated Outdoor Learning Area. We have Forest School status giving pupils experiences which complement traditional classroom learning while building self esteem, confidence and well being. Above all, Cadogan House girls learn to exemplity the core RMS values of courtesy, compassion and respect for others. Flexi, weekly and full boarding are popular options for girls in year 3 and above. Weybridge House offers a friendly home from home where girls acquire independence, have fun and forge firm friendships. With the rarest of exceptions, all Cadogan House girls are guaranteed a place in the Senior School at the age of 11, but take the same entrance examinations as external candidates so that they may be considered for awards at 11+. Recognised as outstanding, Ruspini House Pre School lays firm foundations for a love of learning. Boys and girls develop independence, curiosity and enthusiasm. They learn good manners, courtesy and consideration for others within a busy and supportive framework where each child is valued as an individual with unlimited potential. At Ruspini House, we ensure that children experience both exemplary care and exciting learning; they are challenged and have fun at the same time. Ruspini House provides a flexible service, offering morning/afternoon session, a pre-school day (8.45am - 4pm), a full day (8am - 6pm), as well as early and lagte clubs, and holiday camps. Most Ruspini House girls move onto Cadogan House, although transfer is subject to assessment. Our excellent relationships with a range of local schools allow boys to transfer smoothly to their Reception class of choice.
