Parkside is a thriving preparatory school for boys aged from four to 13, with an onsite co-educational nursery. Set in over 45 acres of beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Cobham, and just a few minutes from the A3, the School provides a stimulating environment in which boys can learn, grow and develop. We focus on providing an education that allows the boys to make the most of their abilities, interests and talents so that they will progress to senior schools as confident and independent individuals, with a joy of learning.
About the school
We seek to develop children academically, socially and physically, while drawing out their capacity for compassion, generosity and understanding. This is largely achieved by staff and senior pupils modelling these qualities themselves to the younger ones.
At Parkside we believe that children learn best when they are happy, active and challenged; so we keep them active and we challenge them!
We are uniquely geared to being able to accept children at a variety of ages and deliver them effectively to a range of senior schools, confident and well-prepared for their future.
You only need to visit for a short time to see the enthusiasm of the children in lessons and around the School. The only way to really appreciate the kind of school we are is to come and see us for yourself – we would be happy to meet you.
Scholarships, Bursaries & Fees
Bursaries are discounts on school fees and allow those who might otherwise be financially constrained from enjoying the benefits of a Parkside education to have the opportunity to do so. If this applies to you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, even if your household income is above the minimum £18,000 p/a which would entitle you to a 100% bursary award; we don’t guarantee to be able to help, but we will do our best within our own financial limits. If you do approach us, our discussions will remain confidential between us.
If you would like more information on bursaries at Parkside School or to discuss your particular circumstances in complete confidence, please contact Eve-Lucille McCann, our bursar, on 01932 869975.

The first point of contact for prospective parents is our School Registrar, Alison Scott, who can be contacted on telephone number 01932 862749. The Registrar can advise you of our forthcoming open mornings, arrange a personal tour of the school if you would like, and discuss the needs of your child or children. You can contact the Registrar using this link email@example.com or via our online form. You can also download a copy of our prospectus from the prospectus tab.
The best way to get a feel for the school is to come and visit us either at an open morning or arrange a separate time to view and take a tour of the school. We can also arrange a time for you to meet our Headmaster, Mark Beach, to ask any questions you may have.
Once you have decided what is best for your son’s future, the next stage is to register your child with the school; you can do this via our registration form. The completed form should be sent to the Registrar along with the registration fee (£100). If you have any further questions after your visit to the school, or would like to speak to other parents or teachers, our Registrar can arrange this for you.
Please note: early registration is recommended. Registrations will be considered in the order they are received.
We will keep in touch with you during your time at Parkside and our staff will ensure that your child is made to feel very welcome from his very first day. We also have a very active parent body, the Friends of Parkside, who are always keen to welcome new parents and help you settle in to life at Parkside.
We look forward to hearing from you very soon.
