About the school
Dodderhill School is the amalgamation of Dodderhill and Whitford Hall(founded 1945) Schools in 1973. The school provides continuity of education for girls from 6 weeks to 16 years for girls. Boys are welcome from 6 weeks to 7 years of age. The school was originally founded by Miss Booker to provide an academic education, whilst maintaining excellence in creative subjects.
The school is a deliberately small school providing an individual, bespoke and varied education. The classes have no more than 16 pupils and there are not more than 2 classes per year. Many classes are considerably smaller, especially at GCSE. Our GCSE results regularly place us at or near top of the GCSE table for Worcestershire.
Girls are provided with individual learning support when needed in a variety of ways.
Girls graduating from Dodderhill this year have produced an excellent set of GCSE results. They are looking forward to moving on to some of Worcestershire's top Sixth Forms in the coming weeks.
23rd August 2018 — The girls at Dodderhill School in Droitwich Spa continue to produce outstanding GCSE results year after year. Despite the reformed GCSE course being much tougher, the girls achieved 100% passes in English GCSE and 91% passed Maths. Overall, 93% of the pupils achieved 5 passes including English, Maths and Science. The Headmistress, Mrs Cate Mawston commented, “ I am proud of all the girls achievements, which is a consequence of their hard work and the dedication of our teachers. Year on year our small class sizes, girls only environment and excellent teaching achieve strong results”.
