Starting school is an exciting milestone for you and your child. Our Pre-Preparatory School is for children aged 4 to 8.
Our innovative and nurturing school environment ensures your child has the best possible start to school life.
We offer a varied curriculum of challenging and enjoyable activities led by talented and supportive teachers to develop each child’s love of, and abilities in, a range of subjects.
We also put great emphasis on developing our pupils’ ‘soft skills’. We provide a wide variety of opportunities and experiences for our pupils which help to develop skills such as compassion, empathy and the ability to build lasting relationships.
It’s very important to us to play our part in developing well-rounded, happy and confident pupils who will go out into the world ready to make a difference and eager to continue their educational journey.
We are delighted to announce that we have achieved a Gold in the Woodland Trust's Green Tree Schools Awards for our fantastic Forest School.
15th June 2018 — We are delighted to announce that we have achieved a Gold in the Woodland Trust's Green Tree Schools Awards for our fantastic Forest School.
The awards allow children to complete fun and exciting activities which help them enjoy and appreciate woods, trees and the outdoor environment.
At Forest School, the children are able to build independence and self-esteem as they complete the many and varied tasks that take place there. They learn to handle tools, care for the environment, cook on a campfire and observe the changing seasons.
Sue Ingram, Forest School Leader, said: “We only entered the awards in April, so to come this far in such a short amount of time is incredible and we are very proud to have a special Green Tree Schools plaque to display in our school. However we are not resting on our laurels as we are now hard at work completing the challenges that will give us the platinum award."

6th February 2018 — Our Year 1 children had a fun-filled trip to Westonbirt Arboretum last week in search of the notorious Highway Rat.
The Forestry Commission have bought the story to life with an activity trail throughout the Arboretum. The children were tasked with seeking out The Highway Rat-themed activity panels and looking out for characters from the story until they found the life-sized Highway Rat 'Wanted' poster!
Along the way the children had a wonderful time exploring the forest, balancing on trees and making stick spiders.
The Highway Rat, written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, is a firm favourite with the children who have been reading a lot of books by Donaldson and Scheffler this term.
