We encourage parents to visit the School to get a real flavour of life at The Hawthorns. Open Mornings are held each half term with our senior pupils showing prospective parents their School. Our children are our best ambassadors and we encourage parents to ask them questions, or speak to the teachers, during the morning. Individual visits take place weekly with tours of the School carried out by our Registrar, Debbie Kingerlee and an opportunity to meet the Headmaster, Adrian Floyd.
To arrange a visit or enquire about our next Open Morning please call Debbie, on 01883 743048 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Scholarships & Bursaries
A limited number of means-tested bursaries are available to parents with children joining the Prep School (Years 3 and above).
The majority of children go on to academically selective senior schools, with over 40% each year achieving scholarships and awards, ranging from academic to sport, music performing arts, art and D&T.
Popular senior school destinations include; Ardingly, Brighton College, Caterham, City of London Freemen's, Cranleigh, Dunottar, Hurstpierpoint, Reigate Grammar School, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Whitgift, Worth and Woldingham amongst others.
No formal assessment is necessary for children entering the Rainbow & Ark Nurseries and Reception, although informal observations will be made during the Taster Session. Children joining during the Reception Year and above will be invited to spend some time at the School in their year group, during the course of which some assessment work is carried out. A report will be requested from their current school where applicable.
Children will be invited to a "Induction Visit" immediately prior to joining. This will give them an opportunity to meet their teacher and classmates and familiarise themselves with the School’s layout. On the first day of term, where appropriate, a "buddy" will be asked to look after a new pupil.
