Ewell Castle School is a well-established independent day school of some 550 pupils, located on three sites in the attractive Surrey village of Ewell: Chessington Lodge and Glyn House (Junior School) - coeducational 3-11 years and The Castle (Senior School) - boys 11-18 years, girls 11-18 years.
Children are admitted to the Nursery class at rising three years old. Throughout the Early Years our aim is tto settle each child into a caring, stimulating and structured environment, where they will learn to work both iindependently and with others.
In Year 3, at age 7, the pupils move to Glyn House, where small classes and a strong pastoral ethos combine to provide an environment which enables the academic and social needs of each child to be met. A broad curriculum is complemented by extensive extracurricular programme of activities and visits.
At 11+ it is our expectation that most boys will move on to our Senior School, however all children are given appropriate preparation for entrance to selective state schools.
